Kelly Lloyd, wife of Acclaimed Video team member , Brad Lloyd, was honored Wednesday , May 26th at the Meridian City Council Meeting. Mayor Tammie DeWeerd presented Kelly with a plaque for being a true "Hometown Hero" for rescueing an elderly veteran from a canal where he was submerged up to his neck. The elderly gentleman, an American hero himself, not only survived but was able to attend the ceremony , along with his dog who also played a key role in the rescue. It was the dog that Kelly saw running up and down the bank that made her think something was not quite right. She took the time to investigate and saved a life.
